Many people know me as the yoga teacher. I absolutely love teaching yoga and having the opportunity to introduce people to the power of their own body. Here is a little more about me outside of teaching yoga. I hope to get to know you too, so stop by the shop and say hi!

What was your biggest adventure?

I dedicated a year to traveling to different parts of the world: Costa Rica, Vienna, Greece, Italy, and Mexico. I spent a month sailing the Baja Peninsula with the National Outdoor Leadership School, exploring uncharted territory.  I studied photography in Italy and Greece, and worked at a health clinic in Costa Rica. Most importantly, I experienced how powerful placing yourself outside of your comfort zone can be.

Favorite snack?
Smoothies, because they’re so quick and easy. My favorite is spinach, banana, coconut water, pineapple, and fresh squeezed lime.

Favorite unhealthy meal?
Macaroni and Cheese, and of course French Fries!

Two things on your bucket list?
Skydiving and backing through Eastern Europe

What totally relaxes you?
Besides yoga…stargazing, a cup of tea, and dancing like no one is watching

What’s currently on your playlist?
Always the Red Hot Chili Peppers
“Black as Night” by Nahko and Medicine for the People
“Lay Me Down” by The Dirty Heads
“Everlasting Arms” by Vampire Weekend
“Something Good” by Alt-J
“Waitin’ On a Sunny Day” by Bruce Springsteen

Message you’d send to all clients?
Be kind to your body; find the balance between testing your limits and knowing when to take a step back. Love the skin you’re in!
