This hike is limited to 12 people and you must purchase a ticket in advance.
We will meet to hike the infamous White Oak Canyon/Cedar Run Loop! This hike has some of the most spectacular waterfalls in all of Shenandoah and has been a long favorite of April, the shop owner. These two out-and-back hikes, White Oak Canyon & Cedar Run, create a beautiful 8.2-mile hike.
Trail Tips: Bring plenty of water (you can bring a water filter), food and trekking poles! Dress warm, wear waterproof hiking shoes and don’t forget your camera! This trail is popular for bear activity and they are often seen close to trail

Your Hiking Guide: Meegana is a certified Hiking Guide through American Hiking Guide Association, Wilderness First Aid Certified through ECSI, has Winter Survival Training through AMP, CPR/AED Adult/Child/Infant Training through AMP and Leave-No-Trace Trainer through PATC. She has hiked the AT and recently returned from summiting Kilimanjaro in Africa.
Carpooling Volunteers: Please let us know during payment that you will be driving. Volunteers are responsible for entrance fee into the park. Having an annual pass is recommended.
Carpoolers: Please consider donating to your carpooling volunteer for their gas expense.
Refund Policy Note: We are excited to get you outside and enjoying our courses and events. Each activity is tailored made for your specific needs and goals for the sport. Since we offer private/small group instruction and special events, our guides’ schedules are busy. Please be considerate of their schedule and make sure you arrive for your activity on time and prepared. Payments are non-refundable. If the activity is cancelled due to weather, then we will do all we can to schedule a rain date. Your guide will work with you to reschedule your activity or, if available, provide a reasonable alternative. If you must cancel for any reason, then notify your guide immediately. We will work with you to reschedule if a cancellation is made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled activity.
