April Fool’s Day is a great opportunity to talk about staying safe, being prepared, and having the knowledge to be SMART on trail.
Do you fall into one of the following categories?
You avoid going on a hiking trip because you don’t want to look dumb or you’re scared. Rather than hold people up, you put off that hiking adventure for another day.
You question how hard can backpacking be?? You throw stuff in a bag, put on some comfy shoes and your favorite pair of jeans, and head off to the mountains. You think, I’ve got a bottle of Gatorade, that should be enough right?
Ladies, if you fall into one of these categories then we are calling you out as a TRAIL FOOL!
Let us help your build your confidence to get out on the trail or educate you on ways to make your trail experience safe and fun!
Grab your best friend because we are going to talk about the questions you may have been afraid to ask. We want you to feel comfortable. No topic is too much for this class. Meegana has planned a discussion that will both make you laugh and get you excited to be in the great outdoors.
Beverages (you know what I mean) will be provided.

Since we offer private/small group instruction and special events, our guides’ schedules are busy. Please be considerate of their schedule and make sure you arrive for your activity on time and prepared. Payments are non-refundable. If the activity is cancelled due to weather, then we will do all we can to schedule a rain date. Your guide will work with you to reschedule your activity or, if available, provide a reasonable alternative. If you must cancel for any reason, then notify your guide immediately. We will work with you to reschedule if a cancellation is made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled activity.
